MSHA 24hr New Miner Training Lubbock, TX

This course meets the requirements of The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulations 30 CFR Part 46 training requirements a new miner who has never worked at a surface mine or quarry operations.  The New Miner course utilizes a mixture of in-depth academic learning and interactive hands-on exercises to provide attendees a comprehensive awareness of the safety procedures required to mitigate their potential exposure to the hazards encountered at the surface mines or quarry.  Participants will learn from R2M’s industry leading experts a wide range of topics from accident prevention, emergency procedures, and first aid/CPR to identifying and reporting environmental, electrical, and chemical hazards specific to the mine site(s).

*Employees and supervisors working at surface mines are required to complete 8 hours of Part 46 refresher training annually.
