At R2M Engineering, our work spans every stage of a project’s lifecycle, from transforming undeveloped land into thriving communities to helping clients maintain compliance long after construction is complete.

Across West Texas, we are partnering with clients in development, environmental compliance, and safety to help projects move forward with confidence.

Environmental Compliance: Preparing for the Upcoming MSGP Renewal

The Texas Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP – TXR050000) is up for renewal this year, beginning a new five-year permit cycle.

This permit applies to many facilities in industrial manufacturing, mining, and aggregate operations, making early preparation especially important.

R2M Engineering is already helping clients across West Texas prepare for renewal by:

  • Reviewing current permit coverage and compliance status
  • Updating Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs)
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Preparing and submitting renewal documentation

With new requirements and deadlines on the horizon, waiting too long can create unnecessary risk and operational disruption. Starting early helps ensure a smoother transition into the new permit cycle.

If you are unsure whether your facility is covered under TXR050000 or when your renewal deadline is approaching, R2M can help. Contact us today.

Supporting Development Featured in the 2026 Parade of Homes

R2M Engineering is proud to highlight the continued success of our partnership with Sharkey Development (Landshark Development) on The Reserve at Dunn Mill Addition in the City of Lubbock.

From initial boundary and topographic surveying through annexation, platting of Phases 1 and 2, and full civil engineering design—including roadways, water infrastructure, and the approach main—our team has supported this project at every stage. R2M also provided OSSF design services, construction observation, municipal improvements, acceptance coordination, and ongoing collaboration with utility providers and the client.

This project represents more than a completed development—it reflects the culmination of a strong, trust-based relationship built through consistent delivery, technical expertise, and a commitment to doing what we say we will do.

At R2M, we don’t just help build communities, we build lasting partnerships.
