OSHA Recordkeeping Basics
Under the requirements of 29 CFR 1904, Recordkeeping and Reporting, many employers are required to keep a record of work-related injuries and illnesses on the OSHA 300 Log and the OSHA 300-A summary. In this seminar, the participants will learn how to define a recordable injury or illness, the record retention and posting requirements, as well as the requirements for the electronic submission of records through the Injury Tracking Application (ITA). Participants will also learn about the reporting requirements to report severe injuries to OSHA within the timeframe(s).
