EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
Freddie has over 18 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management. He assists construction companies and a wide variety of industrial facilities with the development and implementation of appropriate regulatory safety programs. He has extensive experience with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Occupational Safety and Health Consultation (OSHCON) inspections, citations, corrective action planning, and abatement, allowing him to provide helpful assistance to clients both in preventing onsite safety and health compliance issues and in addressing and rectifying regulatory non-compliances.
He is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and numerous industry-specific organizations. As Director of Safety Services for R2M Engineering, Freddie leads a team of safety professionals and technicians in providing services such as air quality sampling, noise level monitoring, hearing conservation programs, respiratory protection programs, and Process Safety Management (PSM) program development and implementation.
He also holds a number of certifications that enable him to provide necessary specialty safety training, in both English and Spanish, on a variety of topics, including confined spaces, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), fall protection, OSHA Outreach Training Program 10-hour and 30-hour courses, and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) awareness. Freddie also has experience with Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) provisions, Risk Management Plans (RMPs), Process Safety Management (PSM), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and ISNetworld (ISN) management and Review and Verification Services (RAVS) programs.
