Working in confined spaces may expose employees to a variety of unique hazards that requires specific training. This course utilizes a mixture of in-depth academic learning and interactive hands-on exercises to provide attendees a comprehensive understanding of the scope and application of the various applicable OSHA regulations related to the work performed in confined spaces. Participants will learn from R2M’s industry leading experts:

• how to identify confined spaces and permit-required spaces;
• individual responsibilities of the entrant, attendant, and supervisor;
• atmospheric monitoring and other related equipment;
• when OSHA’s “Alternate Entry” and Reclassification” procedures are applicable; and
• the requirements for rescue and emergency services.

This course covers the OSHA Confined Space Standards for both General Industry and Construction.
