General Job Description
- Assist with administrative and technical portions of various environmental projects;
- Assist with managing client regulatory compliance;
- Prepare air permit applications and submit applications to regulatory agencies for approval;
- Prepare construction and industrial stormwater plans;
- Prepare spill prevention control and countermeasure plans;
- Travel to perform compliance inspections;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or other engineering-related field, or previous work experience in environmental compliance;
- Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Adobe PDF, Copier/Scanner;
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and protocols;
- Must be able to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines;
- Must be able to effectively communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing;
- Will be required to drive to and from projects and must have a good driving record;
- Must be able to lift 20-40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time;
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time working on a computer;
- Must be willing to travel (as necessary);
- Must be willing to work hours other than 8 to 5 (as necessary);
Beneficial Skills & Experience
- Strong background in mathematics;
- Technical writing and proofreading skills;
- High attentiveness to detail and ability to read and interpret regulatory language;
- Knowledge of industrial, construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas production operations;
- Experience in AutoCAD.
